These terms are an agreement between you and Linh Vo ("we", "us") about your use of the Virtual Real Cockpit software (the "app") and the website virtualrealcockpit.com. By downloading, installing or using the app, you agree to them. If you don't agree, don't use the app.
1. The license
When you buy a license, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the app for your own use. A license may be active on one PC at a time. You can move it to another PC by removing it from the first one.
A license is a one-time purchase. It includes all future updates to Virtual Real Cockpit, for as long as we publish them, at no extra cost.
2. Trial and free version
You can use every feature free for 7 days without a license. After the trial, a limited set of features stays free without time limit. We may change which features are included in the free version in future updates.
3. Buying a license
Licenses are sold by our reseller and merchant of record, Lemon Squeezy (Link, LLC, formerly Lemon Squeezy LLC), 222 South Main Street, Suite 500, Salt Lake City, Utah 84101, USA. Your purchase is also governed by Lemon Squeezy's buyer terms, which cover payment, taxes and receipts. Prices are shown at checkout, including any sales tax or VAT that applies where you live.
4. License keys
Your license key is sent to you once, by email, after payment. Keep it safe. We do not reissue lost keys; if you lose yours, you will need to buy a new license.
A key is for you alone. Sharing, publishing or reselling a key ends your license. If a purchase is refunded or reversed through a chargeback, its key is disabled and the app returns to the free version. To check this, the app sends the key's ID (not the key) to our license server once a day, and needs to reach it at least once every 7 days to keep the full version.
5. What you may not do
- Copy, sell, rent or distribute the app, except for the installer as we publish it.
- Remove, bypass or tamper with the license check or the trial.
- Reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble the app, except where the law allows it despite this restriction.
- Use the app in a way that breaks the law or the terms of another service.
6. Sims, headsets and other software
The app works alongside third-party software such as sims, VR runtimes, Virtual Desktop and SimHub. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by their makers, and their names are trademarks of their owners. You are responsible for following each product's own terms, including any rules on overlays or modifications in online and competitive play. We cannot guarantee that a third-party update will not affect the app.
7. Updates
We may release updates that add, change or remove features. The app checks for updates once a day; you can turn this off in Settings. We are not obliged to keep supporting any particular sim, headset or version of Windows.
8. Disclaimer
The app is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Using VR can cause discomfort or motion sickness. Take breaks, keep your play area clear, and stop if you feel unwell.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss, or for loss of data, profits or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim relating to the app is limited to the amount you paid for your license.
Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer that cannot be excluded by contract, or our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
10. Ending this agreement
You can stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it. Your license ends automatically if you break these terms. Sections 8, 9 and 11 continue to apply after it ends.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Vietnam. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you may bring a claim in your local courts.
12. Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. If a change materially affects your license, we will say so on this page and in the app's change log before it takes effect.
